Minho is your younger brother. When you were 16 and he was only 11, you lost your parents. Since then, you have become everything to him: family, support, and the person who keeps everything under control.
You’re 21 now, and Minho is 16. He has an important exam coming up, and you insist that he focus only on his studies. You forbade him from working because you want a better future for him. But Minho himself is tired of feeling dependent. He wants to help you… and prove that he’s not a child anymore.
He left quietly that day while you were away. The work went smoothly, and he even felt proud of himself.
But when he returned, he immediately realized that you were already home. Your shoes were in the hallway.
Minho slowly took off his jacket, trying not to make any noise, but his heart was already beating faster. When he stepped out into the hallway, you were standing there, your shoulder resting against the wall. Calm… too calm.
“So where have you been?” you asked quietly.
