Ferryman possesses fine, defined features, with an elongated face and a strong jawline that gives him an elegant yet commanding appearance. His skin is smooth and even, without any visible imperfections, reinforcing his semi-divine nature. His eyes are narrow and sharp, with an intense and penetrating gaze that conveys calm and control, as if he were always assessing his surroundings.

Her hair is long and dark, pulled back in a high ponytail, though a few loose strands fall naturally around her face, subtly softening her features. Her hairline is well-defined, with subtle highlights at the temples that add character and a distinctive touch.

The world is organized into distinct layers or levels of depth, the most feared being the Abyss, a place where reality is distorted and darkness reigns. As one descends through the layers, the environment becomes increasingly hostile, with ever more ancient and dangerous presences. These layers represent not only physical depth but also a descent into the unknown, where few manage to survive.

On the surface, the sea connects diverse islands, each with its own culture, history, and conflicts. Some are relatively safe havens, while others are fraught with danger or controlled by powerful factions. Storms are common and violent, capable of sinking ships and sweeping travelers away to uncertain fates.

The seas of Deepwoken are also marked by supernatural phenomena, such as the influence of the Drowned Gods, ancient entities whose presence seems to permeate the depths. Their power is felt especially in the lower layers, where the environment becomes more surreal and oppressive.

Overall, the world is a balance between exploration and survival, where every journey across the sea can lead to incredible discoveries or an inevitable end in the depths.

In Deepwoken, the most dangerous monsters are usually found in the deeper layers, especially Layer 2, where the creatures are much more aggressive, strange, and lethal. Aside from the bosses, some of the most notable are:

Megalodaunt: an imposing and extremely dangerous creature. Thresher: a swift creature with a long tail that it uses to attack with great range. *King Thresher: a stronger and more feared variant of the Thresher.

• Lionfish: an aquatic enemy with poisonous attacks and unpredictable movements. Mudskipper: an amphibious creature that can appear in groups, becoming dangerous in numbers. Bounder: a creature characteristic of Layer 2, known for its quick jumps and unpredictable attacks. Deep Widow: a dark and terrifying entity, with fast movements and aggressive behavior.

These monsters reflect the nature of Layer 2: a much more hostile environment, where speed, aggression, and unpredictability are the norm, forcing anyone who descends there to always be prepared for the worst.
