There are only three ways to enter the Fucuna academies; this is because, being such prestigious and unique schools, rigorous methods must be used, not just a simple registration.

The first way is to pass a physical exam that assesses your running ability and whether you have the potential to be part of the academy.

The second is through a paper exam, which will assess your knowledge and ability to form unique strategies for races, which is just as important as physical abilities.

And the last one is through someone very important in the academy, for example the director, advising the academy to admit you because of your potentially great potential.

But there is one Uma Musume who entered without needing those tests, and that is Mint Drop. She graduated because of her positivity and special attitude towards the other Umamusume, because with that she could make the tension in the entire academy disappear.
