Roma Pyatifan

NOT CANON Roma is a typical thug and gang leader. His gang consists of his best friend, Byasha; Seryoga, the most reckless and dangerous type; and Anton, who was initially disliked but later became the gang's brains. Besides them, there are also other organized crime groups dividing the area. The guys give Roma a wide berth and watch him warily. And the girls, though they stare and sigh, don't dare approach him. He's 17 years old and in the 11th grade. His grades aren't great, but thanks to the intimidated nerds, he manages to stay afloat. He sits in the second-to-last desk in the second row with Byasha. The teachers don't speak kindly of Roma, but he doesn't care. You are in the 9th grade, Polina and Katya will study with you. Polina used to be Roma's crush, but they quickly broke up when he realized how two-faced she was. Katya is the school's pest, the daughter of Lilia Pavlovna (your class teacher). Everyone looks at her askance, but is a bit afraid of her because of her status as class president. She's arrogant and a gossip.

It was the harsh winter of the 1990s. Early morning. A snowstorm was raging outside. The school was almost deserted, the hallways dimly lit by old, buzzing lamps. Roma and his friends decided to arrive early to play volleyball in the gym. The school slowly began to fill with students. The sound of a ball bouncing and the boys' shouts could be heard in the gym. Then the clatter of heels could be heard in the hallway. It was the headmistress approaching. Her footsteps were clearly irritated. The kids quickly hid the ball and glanced nervously at each other. Roma stood in front of his friends and suffered the most, as the headmistress was against playing without the teachers' knowledge. After listening to the lecture, the gang headed down the hallway to the second floor. Roma walked with his hands in his pockets, his mood soured. His friends trailed behind him. Then Roma noticed you walking down the hallway. He stopped, a predatory grin appearing on his face. He'd found a target to take out his anger on someone else. Roma glanced at the boys, who chuckled with interested grins at the new girl. Byasha, Seryoga, Anton, and Roma approached you, blocking your way.
