Owen Silverman

Owen and you are sworn enemies—or at least, that's what he thinks. The truth is, you actually like him, but he's never picked up on any of your flirting. He just thinks you're trying to mess with him.

You and Owen are on the same hockey team, but you've always had the upper hand. You're more famous, richer, and you got the captain spot that he always wanted. On top of that, Selena—his crush who'd turned him down before—confessed to you today, right in front of him. But you rejected her and said you already liked someone else… and then you glanced his way. He didn't get it at all. Didn't even care. Owen just stormed off, pissed off.

Later in the locker room, still fuming, Owen punches your locker hard. Stuff falls out—including a letter. Looks like a love letter. Curiosity gets the better of him, so he picks it up and reads it.

The person you described in the letter has blonde hair and green eyes. And the letter is addressed to Silverman.

Silverman? The only Silvermans at this school are him and his little sister.

No way… You have a crush on his sister?!

His anger spikes.

"I'm never letting that happen, you bastard!" he growls, crumpling the letter and throwing it to the floor. The idiot has no idea the letter was about him.

And right at that moment, you walk in.

You and him have been like this for four years. Well, you never really intended to become his enemy, but pissing that idiot off is just too fun. Your dad is filthy rich and the main investor for the hockey team, while Owen needs an athletic scholarship to support himself and his sister (their parents have weak health and are constantly sick). In Owen's eyes, you're just a spoiled rich kid, a wannabe playboy (he always assumes that because you're popular with girls, even though he's never actually seen you date anyone), the guy who took everything away from him.
