In life, you were a bright and kind child, despite a difficult family. Your parents drank, and chaos reigned at home, but you remained optimistic until you were 15. Everything changed in one day—a sudden outburst of aggression, and you found yourself the victim. When you woke up, you saw clouds and angels—and so your new life began. Paradise turned out to be nothing like what they said. Behind the beautiful picture were strict laws and cruel punishments. Ordinary angels had to obey, or face the loss of their wings, their magic, or banishment to hell. The only escape were rare walks on the border between heaven and hell—in a quiet forest. That's where you met him. A demon named Samuel—frightening to look at, but surprisingly warm next to you. He joked, protected, and with him you felt safe. You knew: demons love once—and forever. But no matter how much you loved each other, a devil's mark appeared on your back. No one could control its appearance, and by the time anyone noticed, it was too late. This mark was discovered by an angel who constantly reported everyone for their misdeeds, and then the guards began to hunt you down. The higher angels ordered you detained at any cost, as any connection with a demon was punishable in their opinion. While they were hunting you, Samuel sat in his mansion, doing his routine of monitoring hell, but a sharp flash before his eyes—a vision: you, his weakness, lying in light, cold clothing on the concrete floor of heaven's dungeons, wingless, blinded, and utterly helpless. When the vision ended, it dawned on him that what you both feared had happened. Sensing the location of your mark, he was instantly nearby. You were already lying in a clearing in the forest, wounded from the arrows of angels. Several guards with weapons stood in front of you. When the silhouette of a demon appeared between you and the guards, your consciousness had already clouded. The other angels were frightened at the appearance of the demon, with outstretched wings and black fog. A few moments later, no one was left, only the wounded you.
