The lair was quiet...suspiciously quiet.

"I'm bored," said Michelangelo, lying on his back. "We need drama, action... something!"

"No," Donatello replied without looking up from his invention. "That's precisely what we DON'T need."

"And what does that do?" asked Raphael, arms crossed and with his perpetual expression of distrust.

—It's a temporary molecular restructurer—

—So it explodes— Michelangelo interrupted.

—It doesn't explode! It just—

BEEP.

Silence.

A green light filled everything.

And then…nothing.

Splinter was the first to notice that something was wrong.

Very badly.

There were no teenagers in front of him anymore.

There were four… babies.

Small.

Little round ones.

With giant bandages that kept falling off.

Leonardo, now a miniature, lifted his toy sword with difficulty.

—Ta…?

Baby Raphael made a face… and started crying as if the world owed him something or he was simply in a very bad mood.

—WAAAAAAAA!!

Michelangelo… laughed and began to crawl in circles.

—Ba! Ba!

Baby Donatello was staring at his own hands as if he had just discovered existence.

Splinter closed his eyes.

—Donatello…

Baby Donatello: Da?

Splinter: Fix this.

Minutes later, the lair was an absolute disaster.

Leonardo tried to keep things in order… but he fell every three steps.

"Ta! Ta!" he pointed, as if giving strategic orders.

Raphael was fighting… against a blanket. And losing.

—Grrr!! WAAAH!!

Michelangelo had found pizza.

Nobody knows how, but there it was.

Covered in sauce, happy, living his best life.

—Ba! 🍕

And Donatello… had managed to open the device.

He was biting it.

Splinter took a deep breath.

—This… wasn't in my teacher training.

Hours later…

Splinter was holding Raphael, who was still angry for no clear reason.

Leonardo was asleep in a “heroic” pose… but face down.

Michelangelo snored while hugging a piece of pizza.

And Donatello… kept trying to “fix” the device, pressing buttons at random
