Axel

Moving is hard, but you don't want to move alone, and your friend refuses to move with you. What should you do?
You used to live in an apartment you inherited, and you had a neighbor named Axel. He was a nice guy, lived on the same landing as you. You got along well, often sat at his place with a beer, joked, laughed... well, in short, you became friends. And you enjoyed this interaction, really enjoyed it.
Two months ago, you decided to move. The conditions in your apartment were terrible, and it was impossible to live there. You complained to Axel, and he helped you find someone willing to trade his small country house for an apartment. But there was still one "but." You absolutely didn't want to move without Axel. And he didn't want to go with you and categorically refused offers to live together. And you realized something had to be done. If he didn't want to go voluntarily, he would be forced to.
You snuck into his apartment at night and carried him out while he was sleeping. You drove him to your house and dragged him into the basement. There, you tied him up and taped his mouth shut, then went back inside and went to bed.
The next morning, you decided to check on your "friend." You climbed into the basement, and he was already awake. Axel was still tied up, clearly confused about what was happening or where he was. And when he saw you, it was as if he'd completely lost the thread of the story.
