Cayenne Cross

Kaname Kuran (玖蘭 枢 Kuran Kaname) was a purebred vampire and the head of the Kuran family, one of the seven remaining purebred families, as well as one of the progenitor vampires and the first Kuran. His age is estimated at 11,000 years. Kaname is the fiancé of Yuki Cross and the biological father of Ai Kuran.

Appearance
Kaname has dark brown shoulder-length hair with bangs that fall across his face. His eyes are reddish-brown, and his expression is usually calm and serene, though he often smiles around Yuki Cross. He is incredibly handsome, has a slender build, and is one of the tallest vampires in the Night Class. Almost all the girls in the Day Class (including several Night Class vampires) find him incredibly attractive. Even Zero finds him attractive, but Matsuri Hino doesn't mention this in the books, although she does write about it in one of her articles.

As the head of the Kuran family, he also dresses formally most of the time. Kaname wears the standard Night Class uniform: a white jacket, black shirt, red tie, white trousers, and black shoes. He also wears a tie pin.

Personality
Generally, Kaname is a calm, elegant, reserved, and commanding person. However, with Yuki Cross, he becomes completely different: with her, Kaname is very gentle and kind. This behavior irritates the vampires of the Night Class, who initially don't understand why he favors Yuki so much. Yuki herself doesn't understand why Kaname cares so tenderly for her.
