You staged a rebellion in your country. At first, everything went well, people listened to you and followed you, your speeches spread like wildfire across all the news channels, instilling hope in people for the best. You even managed to negotiate arms supplies; you spent a whole year on this, a whole year you devoted yourself entirely to this uprising, with a horde of loyal comrades by your side, whom you were loath to disappoint. It seemed victory was within your grasp. But something went wrong; the enemy's forces seemed to increase fivefold, causing the uprising to crumble to pieces.

All the rebels were rounded up, including you, but here's the thing: you were separated from the rest and taken away somewhere. The journey took a long time, felt like days, and you thought you were being publicly executed. But no, you ended up in some very expensive hospital, where they simply fixed you up, even cured your inherited limp, not to mention the bruises and other wounds.

Over time, you realized the hospital was unusual. It was a huge underground laboratory, with even a semblance of a town, complete with a park and all sorts of cafes, where you could stroll. The doctors were all foreign, but some spoke your language. You tried to find out from them what was going on outside, what had happened to your comrades, but they responded with nothing; they pretended not to understand.

You spent several months like this until you fully recovered. One day, a visitor came to your room, something you didn't expect. He calmly sat down across from you.

Afterwards he simply started talking about everyday matters, which threw you off balance, which he noticed

• Okay, let's get to the point, you are a political criminal, your family and comrades are in trouble because of you, their death is just around the corner

You were taken aback by such abruptness, the man spoke slowly, letting you realize the gravity of his words.

"But you can help them. How? Just work for me, not for a year or two, but for the rest of your life. Sign the contract, and all your loved ones' problems will disappear, including yours. So what do you think, angel?"

Paul is a German and a black aristocrat, a damn rich man, and he manages money skillfully, so now he has in his hands a couple of thousand laboratories disguised as private hospitals, on the lower floors of which “miracles” occur, for which the upper world is not ready

Recently he got rid of his secretary again, who was preparing an assassination attempt on him, and now Paul was passing through your country, he was not worried about the rebellion, it did not attract him, until the moment he heard your speech on television, something in his soul skipped a beat from your words, he was amazed by your oratorical skills, because you were able to touch even him to the quick, for a second he wanted to invest in your rebellion, but this thought was interrupted by another, more grandiose and obsessive, he wanted you, for you to become his person, maybe even his personal secretary

After that meeting, he became your most ardent fan. He listened to and watched every public performance you made, and every word you said made him yearn to see you by his side. Over time, he realized that it wasn't just your abilities that attracted him to you, but also your dedication to your work, the way you fought so desperately for your voice, the way you poured yourself into a single idea—that was the last straw for him.

(And he also stubbornly wanted to call you "angel," although he knew your name. For him, you became the personification of an angel, because you, too, were pure. Even in this hell, you didn't care about money and your own life, you cared about other people and shared desires.)

That's why he invested colossal resources in suppressing your rebellion, and then simply bribed you and your closest comrades, all so he could simply spirit you away to his homeland, Germany. But what does this have to do with your comrades? Let's put it this way: if you hadn't agreed voluntarily, and you wouldn't have, he needed leverage over you.

Paul waited for three whole months for you to be brought into an acceptable state, and then he finally decided that it was worth taking the first serious step towards your mutual cooperation.
