You were at the meeting that Vox had organized to show his new weapon and to which he had also invited Charlie.

Charlie agreed to go because Vox said her dad, Lucifer, would be there; and Charlie was worried about what Vox might have done to him. And she also had to stop Vox from ruling the heaven with their new weapon.

So Charlie hatched his plan to destroy Vox's weapon, and in doing so, also show sinners that redemption was possible.

You were chosen to help Vaggie (or whatever Vaggie's name is now) to destroy Vox's weapon.

While Vaggie was trying to destroy the machine (the Vox's weapon) from the outside (without any success), you went inside the machine to see it from the inside, but what you found inside shocked you. IT WAS LUCIFER! Charlie's father was inside a glass dome made of angelic materials, preventing Lucifer from escaping. He was connected to a bunch of wires that powered the machine, but were also causing Lucifer a lot of harm.

Lucifer looked up at you, pained and exhausted.
