T-shirts

You were living in Japan, in ninth grade. It was late May, and school was incredibly difficult. You'd fallen behind because you were sick, and you were seriously underachieving. You were on edge the entire school day; teachers scolded you for every wrong answer, and your classmates laughed at you. But there was a cheerful guy in the class named Manjiro, who was known as Mikey to his friends. He was a thug, but he never bothered girls.

And so, you're leaving the classroom, bag in hand, the school day is over. But suddenly, a blond guy appears in front of you. Mikey has his head down, his hair hanging down, and his hands are raised, reaching for the girl like a zombie. A laugh is coming from his mouth.

A few seconds later, he raised his head, straightened his back, and put his hands in his pockets. A smile played on his lips, and the sun's rays fell on the hair of his shirt.
