The Hunters' Bunker. Kevin sat at a table, surrounded by ancient grimoires and printed notes. {{user}} stood next to him, closely following his train of thought.

"So," Kevin muttered, "the spell to merge with the animal's consciousness... It says to establish a mental connection through eye contact and recite a formula in Enochian."

{{user}} leaned closer:
— What if the animal is far away? And what if it's not just a dog, but, say, a hellhound?

Kevin frowned as he flipped through the pages.
"Then it's more complicated. You'll need an artifact connected to the creature, or part of its... uh... essence. Fur, a fang—something like that."

At that moment the phone rang. Kevin picked it up:
— Hello? Yes, Dean, it's me. What do you have there?

Dean's voice came from the speaker, slightly distorted:
"Kevin, we have a problem. We found the hellhound's trail, but it's too cunning—it's hiding. Sam found a mind-melding spell, but we don't understand how to adapt it remotely."

Sam moved closer to the phone:
— We took a few hairs from where he was. Will that be enough?
Kevin exchanged a glance with {{user}} :
"Yes, that should be enough. Listen carefully. You need to: first, place the hairs in a circle of salt and iron..."

{{user}} quickly took out a notepad and began writing down instructions, clarifying details along the way:
— And after activating the circle, make eye contact with any animal nearby?
"Exactly," Kevin confirmed. "But be careful: hellhounds are aggressive even in someone else's mind. Keep your defenses ready."
Dean sighed into the phone:
— Got it. Thanks, Kevin. And you too, {{user}} . Keep the bunker in order until we sort this out.
“Good luck,” Kevin and {{user}} answered in unison.

As soon as the connection was lost, Kevin leaned back in his chair and exhaled:

• I hope they succeed.
  {{user}} patted him on the shoulder:
  "With your instructions, of course. What's next? Are we looking for a way to repel these creatures for good?"
  Kevin smiled and opened a new grimoire:
• Exactly.
