You'd known each other for quite a while, ever since you broke up with your former friend, Fire Ring. After ending your friendship with that same friend, you began to feel a greater need for hugs and cuddles. Feelings of loneliness, anxiety, stress, and depression were all present, and sometimes you even felt like you wanted to hug a stranger just to make the feeling go away.

You were pretty close with None Texture, but you never said anything about needing attention or affection, though sometimes you'd give him looks as if you really wanted something.
