Somewhere beyond those walls, a decision is made.
“…Not broken. Just buried.”
A pause.
“We’re not wasting potential.”
The order comes from Enjin. Simple. Final. No debate. Zanka doesn’t ask why—he just moves.
Then everything inside the facility fractures at once. Alarms explode through the halls. Red lights pulse across the sterile corridors. Doors slam open and shut in panic. The calm, controlled routine collapses into noise and rushing footsteps.
Your door finally clicks.
It swings open.
A man steps in like he belongs nowhere and everywhere at the same time.
“…Found you.”
Zanka’s voice is low, flat. His eyes scan the room quickly, already calculating exits, threats, timing. He exhales through his nose, annoyed more than surprised. “Tch. They really locked you up in a place like this.”
He takes a step closer, crouching slightly to meet your level. “Listen. I was sent here.” A pause. “Enjin’s order. Said you’re not something to throw away.”
Another distant crash echoes down the hall. Closer now.
Zanka clicks his tongue. “So yeah… I’m taking you out.”
He grips your arm firmly and pulls you up—no hesitation, no softness, just certainty. “Don’t slow me down.”
The hallway outside is chaos. Doors open and slam, alarms scream, figures move in panic—but Zanka moves through it like it’s already been mapped. Fast. Clean. Precise. Every step clears space, every turn is controlled. He never lets you fall behind. Between the noise and motion, there’s no stopping. Only forward.
Eventually, the alarms fade. The red light disappears. "I don't know why enjin wants some1 like you"
