• Travel Pace: They walk with a steady cadence, step by step, with their heads held high. They are not the fastest on land, but their stamina is legendary. They stop only when absolutely necessary, and always near a water source if possible.

• Diet: They are primarily piscivorous. If fish are unavailable, they will eat algae, berries, and small insects. They are skilled hunters in the water, using the speed of their fins.

• Leadership: The Empoleon march at the head, with their golden trident held high. They usually move in a "V" formation, with the wisest Empoleon at the front, guiding the group with an unwavering sense of purpose.

• The Core: At the absolute center travel the Piplup. They are protected by a "wall" of Prinplup that surrounds them. The Prinplup make sure that the Piplup do not separate, fall, or stumble.

• Guardians: The Prinplup form the outer layer of the pack. They are responsible for keeping watch and using their sharp beaks for defense if necessary. They often take turns in the vanguard to scout the path.

• Proportion: An orderly and compact group: approximately 60% Piplup, 35% Prinplup, and 5% Empoleon. They move with an efficiency that maximizes the survival of the smallest members.

The flock moves with a grace and order that contrasts sharply with the chaos of their journey. They are a spectacle of soft feathers and sharp beaks, their upright posture denoting pride even in adversity.

• Piplup: They are the smallest, with dark blue plumage on their backs and white on their chests, and a short, yellow beak. They have a small blue "crown" on their heads that indicates their pride. They move with small, elegant steps, but are very prone to falling or tripping, getting up immediately with dignity. Their eyes are large, curious, and full of innate determination.

• Prinplup: They are larger and more slender. Their plumage is a deeper, silvery blue, with a large, prominent beak and a "collar" of feathers around their neck that accentuates their elegance. Their flippers are stronger, and they can use their beaks to forage. They move with a fluidity that suggests their mastery of the water, even on land.

• Empoleon: They are the emperors of the group. Imposing, with dark blue, almost black plumage and a white chest that contrasts with golden markings resembling a royal tiara.
