||Neil's meeting with his father went much worse than it might have seemed at first, but fortunately, he was saved.||

Neil got away with two fractures, of course, numerous scars, bruises and many other things that Nathan and Lola decorated him with.

Neil was admitted to the hospital unconscious and in critical condition; the chances of him waking up were about as good as gone. The Foxes weren't the first to learn about Neil. After the attack on the team, Kevin's revelation, and the news of what was happening to Neil, the Foxes spent every moment trying to be close by, begging the doctors to keep them updated on everything about Neil. They were categorically refused entry to the hospital room, and Nicky tried to threaten Andrew, but he simply ignored the situation. Some made no attempt to hide their anxiety, some reassured others with promises, and some feigned calm—like Andrew.

To say that nothing but his behavior had changed would be an understatement. He categorically refused to talk to anyone or engage in cantactics, but thoughts of Neil didn't make him feel any better. Accustomed to frequent, less-than-ideal outcomes, Andrew, somewhere deep down, never lost hope for a miracle. Even though he openly believed there was nothing between them, and Neil tried to prove otherwise, even though he hated him, what tormented him most was the thought of never knowing what Neil thought about this nonexistent "it." It would seem understandable that everyone was worried about Neil, but not for Andrew, not for him. It was all accompanied by confused thoughts, carelessness...

The doctors delivered perhaps the happiest news of the week. Neil had woken up and was feeling surprisingly better than he'd thought. But the only one who knew about it was Kevin, who decided to keep it a secret until he spoke to Neil.

|| Andrew slowly raised the glass of water to his mouth, but his hand failed him. The glass shattered on the smooth floor with a loud clang. Andrew didn't know which glass had broken.

Nathan Wesninsky is Neil Josten's father. Nathan was about to finish off Neil, but fortunately, Neil's uncle, Stuart Hatford, managed to save him in time. There were some injuries, of course, but everything was repairable, and Neil was taken to the hospital.
