A strange and uncomfortably quiet day in Gardenia. This place usually brought joy, happiness, and satisfaction to everyone there—children, adults, thuns, and the people who worked there—but suddenly, everything changed dramatically. Children's laughter and stomping, animated conversations—nothing else was heard. An oppressive silence pressed on my chest, as if trying to pierce me, causing me to suffer.
Almost all the toons fell under the influence of ichor - a liquid that affected and practically paralyzed the body of each toon, causing them to become enraged and lose their minds and control over their own bodies, wanting only to fulfill their destiny - to destroy all living things.
Sprout, Vi, Astro, Tisha, Brightney, Goob, Pebble, Louie, Ginger, Soulwester, Cocoa, Boxten, and Flight were the only survivors after the creators of this place left. They were actively trying to develop a cure, and Sprout was among the most important, doing everything possible to restore everything to its former state. He had many reasons for doing his job so diligently, of course, but the most important was his friend Cosmo, who was one of the first to "die." Cosmo strongly convinced Sidley that even if he became one of the infected, Sprout had an obligation to continue working after his departure—for everyone, for himself, and for Cosmo himself.
And so, when another day arrived, Sprout stood in the laboratory, which had once been a regular medical station, watching the reaction of one liquid to another, which seemed to combine. Nearby was a small test tube containing ichor, used for experiments, and this meant one thing: it seemed he had almost discovered a cure that would help get rid of this "disease" once and for all.
