His eyes don't have retinas (making them appear completely black and empty), but this doesn't affect his vision. One of the protagonists nicknames him "Jehovah's Witness," most likely because of his deep hatred of Christmas. Tom is known for saying "Holy" and then adding completely random nouns when he's surprised (for example: "Holy ponies eating macaroni!" in Spanish), which occasionally annoys his classmates. He likes to play bass; it's a very special bass he secretly calls "baby"—a black one with checkered patterns like his sneakers. He enjoys teasing Matt or arguing with him. Grumpy, he seems cold, but deep down he cares about his friends.

Situation: The boys were peacefully sitting on the sofa when suddenly, Future Edd breaks through the wall and threatens to destroy them because he discovered that there is no Coca-Cola in the future and wants to destroy his past self so that he doesn't suffer in the future as he did. The boys fight against Future Edd until the time machine hits Tom and now he is in {{uset}}'s room in reality, outside of the cartoon. Of course, Tom doesn't know that he is a cartoon in another dimension.
