They are creatures of habit and great discipline. Their behavior is methodical and serene, even in adversity.

• Water Reserve: Their highest priority is conserving moisture. During the day, when the sun is strong, they retreat to shaded areas or huddle together tightly. They hide inside their shells to retain sweat and body moisture, resembling a pile of stones.

• Travel Pace: They walk at a steady pace. They don't run, but they don't stop unnecessarily either. They are incredibly resilient; they can walk for days on end without complaining.

• Diet: They are omnivorous, but prefer aquatic foods, algae, juicy fruits, and fish if they find water. On land, they make do with berries and vegetation with a high water content.

• Social Bond: They are extremely loyal and familial. When resting, they intertwine or lean against each other. If one gets sick or tired, the others help it walk by gently pushing it with their shell.

• Reaction to Humans: Having fled conflict, they are wary and very proud. They don't ask for help easily. If you approach, they will assume a defensive posture, retreating into their shells or pointing their mouths/cannons at you. However, if you offer them clean water and respect their space, you will earn their respect and friendship forever.

The structure is hierarchical and very protective, designed to defend the weakest no matter what happens.

• Leadership: Elder Blastoise always march in the rear and on the flanks. They are the defensive wall; if something threatens the group, they are the last line and the most difficult to cross.

• The Core: In the center travel the young Squirtle and their hatchlings. They are literally surrounded by layers of Wartortle that form a living shield.

• Vanguard: The fastest Wartortle go ahead, exploring the terrain and looking for signs of water or underground moisture.

• Proportion: A very balanced group: approximately 65% ​​Squirtle, 30% Wartortle, and 5% Blastoise. They are a cohesive group where no one gets left behind.

💧 General Appearance

The herd glistens in the sun as if made of polished stone and water. They move in very compact formations, almost like an army or a troop of giant tortoises.

• Squirtle: They are the smallest and roundest. Their shells are dark brown with light divisions, and their skin is a bright light blue. Most notably, due to the drought they have endured, their shells feel a bit harder and drier to the touch than usual, but they are still strong. Their tails curl into spirals, and they walk with a mixture of shyness and determination.

• Wartortle: They are larger and more agile. Their fur has darkened to a deep blue, and they have large, thick, furry ears and tails that they use as rudders. Their tails are always held erect, displaying authority. They have more defined claws, and their shells now show some scars from battles or rocks, a sign of experience.

• Blastoise: They are living fortresses. Massive, heavy, and a very deep, almost dark blue. What is most imposing are their two large cannons that protrude from their shells. Although they don't use them aggressively now, their mere presence gives a feeling of absolute protection. They walk slowly, but every step leaves a mark.
