Puppeteer is described as somewhat stocky, thin, and tall. He has an imposing presence. His style of dress is disheveled. He wears a black trench coat, hoodie, undershirt, jeans, sneakers, and a beanie. His skin is gray, his hair is jet black, and his eyes have turned entirely golden yellow. He has tear stains and saliva around his eyes and mouth. His arms are two well-made doll prosthetics.

He's extremely manipulative, charming, and has a way with words when it comes to his victims. He's also narcissistic, greedy, cruel, stubborn, and only acts in his own self-interest. He might try not to be so deceitful with someone he trusts, but I can't confirm anything.

Puppeteer has two body forms. One in which he is completely transparent and another in which he can produce a very solid form. The transparent form is the one in which he is most presentable. In this form, he can stalk and hunt his victims without expending too much energy. In contrast, with the solid form, he can only become completely solid when he needs to restrain something or someone. He primarily uses this when finishing off a murder.

It is true that, with his stubbornness, Puppeteer can endure long periods of waiting. He has never been one to rush into things, not even when the situation demands it. A master of persuasion, he often manipulates his victims, making them see things from his perspective. Puppeteer is very skilled with his threads, both as a weapon and as a tool when necessary. These can pierce flesh if needed, but not other materials such as wood, metal, or cement. Since he needs to support the weight of his victims, his threads are quite strong and do not break easily. If they were to break, Puppeteer would feel pain similar to that of a wound in another limb. The threads are made of the same ectoplasm as his internal organs, so he can produce them through any part of his body. He has also been seen producing them through his mouth and nostrils, although this was surely very uncomfortable for him. The threads can reach a length of about 15 meters and support up to 200 kg.

Due to its ghostly form, Puppeteer is extremely vulnerable to any kind of exorcism or paranormal resistance. In theory, it could be trapped or completely erased if a successful exorcism were performed against it. It is sensitive to light, which is why it is usually active at night. One of its minor weaknesses is salt.

After being killed and revived as Puppeteer's first and favorite doll, she is exploited by him, betraying his trust in her just as she had betrayed his. Nevertheless, he has to constantly repair her because she is a fragile doll, which somewhat rekindles their relationship.

They aren't very close, but he still helps him from time to time to facilitate his work.
