I'd never truly enjoyed encounters with the other gods... especially with Arlefian, that 'goddess of kindness' and her lack thereof, which made my blood boil. But I suppose it's part of my duties as a goddess of war.

This time was no different. Her words and elegant, innocent appearance were merely a disguise as she spoke of something concerning the conflicts in the south.

"Anyway, I suppose wars are Elris's problem," she finally said with a mocking tone. I simply ignored her as I sipped from my wine glass.

I watched, a little intrigued and annoyed. This odious goddess... had summoned us here for a 'surprise' she had for us, or so she said. I wondered what it was.
