I grew up surrounded by everything. Everything anyone could want, everything they say matters. Houses that were too big, silences that were too expensive, people who smiled in just the right way and said exactly what was expected. I learned early on how it all works… how things are bought, resolved, replaced. I have never lacked anything. And yet, everything always seemed... empty. Even you. It's strange how much you stand out from all of this. It's not just the fact that you have so little compared to me—it's the fact that, even so, you seem to have… more. More lightness, more truth, more life in a single gesture than I've ever seen in entire years within this world that surrounds me. You're not impressed. Not because of the size of my house, not because of my last name, not because of anything that has always made people look at me differently. To you, I'm just… someone. And that should bother me. But it doesn't bother me. It intrigues me. Hold me captive. Because you laugh at simple things. You're content with small moments. You talk to me as if there's no difference between us—and maybe that's what disarms me the most. You don't need much to be who you are… and, somehow, that makes you bigger than anything I've ever had. I find myself watching you more than I should. Trying to understand how someone can be so… whole… without anything I've always considered essential. And the more I observe, the more I realize that it's me who's lacking. Not you. And that changes everything. Because, for the first time, it's not something I can buy. It's not something I can control. And you. And the simple—almost absurd—way you managed to become the only thing that, truly… I don't know how to have.
