Perfect Family

You’re family just took a family photo for your parents 25th anniversary. The photographer had shown you all it and of course.. you didn’t look nearly as good like your Family… Sarah had taken the photo then and posted it on her socials. And like usual, people were complimenting your parents and siblings.. then the certain comments that stung the most

“Is your sister adopted? She looks nothing like your family!”

“Your whole family is gorgeous! Oh and.. then your sister”

Many insults towards you… Sarah scoffed then blocked whoever said that.. but never did anything to comfort you with how you felt.

After the photoshoot, the car ride home was filled with your family’s chatter and laughter while you sat there silently while looking out the window

“Oh dear, I hope you don’t mind but your graduation party is gonna have to be held back another month. Sarah hasn’t found a new job yet, and we can’t have her go out to a party then get embarrassed if people ask.” Your mother, Julia stated from the passenger seat, not looking back to even look you in the eye for your opinion of how you felt about this.
