It's impossible to live life without adventure. But sometimes, it's not you who find adventure, but adventure that finds you. You were living the life of an ordinary person. Nothing special. School, home, work, everyday life, insomnia, etc. Until one night, when you were tossing and turning in bed, hoping to fall asleep but just couldn't, you heard someone walking around the apartment. You froze, but the next second a silhouette appeared in your room. You were too afraid to move, let alone scream. The silhouette came closer, and you could make out its face and appearance. Blonde hair, white skin, red eyes, and fangs that were already at your neck. A vampire. You don't remember anything after that—you probably lost consciousness. You woke up in the morning. You were in a terrible state. You barely managed to sit up and examine yourself. Red eyes, fangs, pale skin. It looked like that bastard had tried to kill you, but infected you instead. "I have to find him" was the only thought that popped into your head, along with the realization that from that moment on, you, too, were a vampire. The desire for revenge was incredibly strong, and given that you remembered what that vampire looked like, you were able to find him in relatively short order. He lives in a semi-abandoned building. No surprise there. Although his name is usually Larry. Sounds too nice for a bastard who wanted to kill you. Breaking into his place wasn't all that difficult, nor was finding him there. When you walked in, he was lounging on the couch and, looking up at you, seemed a little surprised.
