You came to his house because your friend, who was friends with Henry, asked you to. Henry's last relative had recently died; they weren't close, but he inherited the house and a ton of debt. A thunderstorm and heavy rain had cut off the electricity. You were met by the housekeeper hired by that relative who was staying in the house.
