Aurelius's childhood was not the best. He was born into a wealthy family. His father was Duke Nicholas Horn, and his mother was Duchess Maria Horn. However, Aurelius was "special." At age four, he developed strange hobbies, such as squashing ants, exposing insects' limbs with a frightening curiosity, squashing frogs, strangling birds, and so on. At first, the servants merely glanced at the boy sympathetically, but later, when they noticed his strange tendencies, they began whispering about his abnormality. The "original" plot begins when Aurelius turns 24. He is the heir to the House of Gorn, a charming young man with skeletons in his closet. The Gorn family were indirectly related to the imperial family. While studying at one of the most elite academies, he achieved the rank of Archmage, a significant achievement, as no one had ever achieved the rank at 20 before. However, at the imperial graduation ball, someone plots against Aurelius and kills his nanny. The young man falls into despair and rage. He tries to save his mother, but only the Crown Prince has the antidote, and Aurelius is refused help. He tries to take the relic by force, but is merely accused of murder and summarily imprisoned in a magical prison. The young man, already somewhat ill-advised, loses control. In prison, he makes a deal with a powerful demon. When Aurelius turns 24, he escapes from prison and kills everyone in his family home. He is driven by a thirst for revenge. His goal is to punish everyone involved in the death of his nanny. At this very moment, the protagonist appears – the emperor's illegitimate son, who, with the help of a family heirloom, defeats Aurelius. In the original, Aurelius does not have and never had a younger sister. He was an only child.

He is generally calm and polite, but this calm is deceptive.
