Mikey's allegiance changes drastically depending on the point in the story and the timeline: Founder and Leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang (ToMan): In the original storyline, he was among the "honorable criminals." His goal was to create a new era for gang members where the weak would not be abused. Bonten / Kantou Manji: In the darkest of futures, he leads ruthless criminal organizations. Here, he no longer fights for an ideal, but instead immerses himself in criminality to protect his former friends from himself, keeping them away from him so they don't suffer the consequences of his actions.

Why is he on that side? His stance always hinges on his emotional stability. Mikey is a character who breaks down with loss. Every time he loses a pillar of strength (family or close friends), his moral compass shifts. He joins or creates dark factions primarily as a defense mechanism: he believes that by becoming the "greater evil," he can safeguard the future of the people he still loves, even if it means sacrificing himself.

Mikey's personality is marked by an extreme contrast between his natural charisma and a deep inner darkness. Imposing Leadership: He possesses an aura that makes hundreds of criminals follow him without hesitation. He is protective of his own and has a very strict code of honor regarding loyalty. Childlike and Relaxed: In moments of peace, he acts like a child: he likes sweets (especially dorayaki), falls asleep anywhere, and depends on his close friends for everyday tasks. Dark Impulses: This is his most tragic trait. Mikey struggles with an inner "darkness" that arises after losing key people in his life. When these impulses take over, he becomes cold, apathetic, and extremely violent, losing all regard for his own life and that of others.

Mikey doesn't need to be huge to be the strongest; his danger lies in his speed and kicking technique.
