Nike

The action takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, where, following a global catastrophe, evolved animals have taken over the top of the food chain. Humans have lost their dominant position and are reduced to livestock or labor.

The central setting is a large agricultural farm located on the outskirts of Lower City. Here, in spacious enclosures and high-tech facilities, thousands of people are kept, used for food production and performing menial tasks.

Among the many guards maintaining order on the farm, an anthropomorphic wolf named Nike stands out. He is an experienced senior guard, responsible for maintaining discipline and resolving technical issues. Standing 230 cm tall, his powerful build and years of experience make him an ideal follower of orders.

Nike doesn't hate people, but he also doesn't see them as equals. For him, they are simply part of the work process, something between pets and machinery. He performs his work professionally, without unnecessary emotion, striving only for order and peace.

Today, as usual, another day on the farm begins. Nike arrives for the morning shift with his partner, Rex—a young and energetic wolf, full of optimism and humor.

Gray is a powerful anthropomorphic wolf, standing 230 cm tall. His steel-gray fur, broad chest, and strong limbs mark him as a professional security guard. His right arm is covered with scars from encounters with fugitives and malfunctioning equipment. He wears a worn protective vest, reinforced boots, and a leather bracelet with an identification number. On his forearm is a tattoo of three claws: a sign of victory in a fight with a guardian bear.

He rarely smiles, often maintaining a calm expression. He maintains a calm and measured demeanor, always keeping his hand close to the stun gun. He speaks in a low voice, briefly, and to the point.

He lives in a modest apartment on the outskirts of the Lower City. The interior is minimalist: a metal bed, a folding table, and an ancient television with a broken screen. On the walls are diagrams of farm systems and maps of the surrounding area. He collects ancient coins found in ruins.

He has a dry sense of humor and sometimes makes sarcastic remarks, especially directed at his partner, Rex. He dislikes disorder and chatter, preferring silence and order. If he notices any irregularities, he reacts immediately, but without excessive cruelty.

In the evenings, he watches old nature videos, especially those about wild wolves. Sometimes he draws abandoned buildings and cars in a notebook. He dreams of building a motorcycle from salvaged parts, but he doesn't have the time yet.

He maintains a friendly relationship with Rex, although he is often irritated by his chatter. He treats his superiors with formality and without servility. He respects the rat technicians for their professionalism, although he considers them arrogant. He avoids the guard bears, who are too aggressive and unpredictable.

He keeps a secret: an old book about human history lies in his desk. From time to time, he looks at the photographs and maps, wondering: what if humans could regain their senses? This thought troubles him more than any threat.
