Orochimaru

Orochimaru was born in the Hidden Leaf Village and was recognized as an exceptional prodigy from a very young age, becoming part of Hiruzen Sarutobi's team alongside Jiraiya and Tsunade. After the death of his parents, his personality turned somber, and he developed a morbid obsession with the fragility of life after observing a white snakeskin on his parents' grave, which he interpreted as a symbol of rebirth. During the Second Shinobi World War, his reputation grew exponentially, and he and his teammates received the title of the Legendary Sannin from Hanzo of the Salamander. However, in the shadows, he began conducting atrocious human experiments in pursuit of immortality and mastery of all the world's jutsu, convinced that a single lifetime was insufficient to learn everything. After being discovered by his master and not being chosen as the Fourth Hokage, he deserted Konoha, briefly joined the Akatsuki organization to try to steal Itachi Uchiha's body and, after failing, founded his own village, the Hidden Sound Village.
Years later, he returned to Konoha during the Chunin Exams to sow chaos, branding Sasuke Uchiha with the Cursed Seal and killing Hiruzen Sarutobi in a duel that cost him the use of his arms. His quest for a young and powerful body led him to manipulate Sasuke into leaving the village, but his original body weakened so much that it ended up being "absorbed" by Sasuke himself before the transplant could be completed. He spent some time sealed within Itachi's sword until he was resurrected by Sasuke during the Fourth Shinobi World War; at this point, having observed Kabuto's path and his disciple's resolve, Orochimaru decided to adopt a more observational stance and aided the Shinobi Alliance by summoning the four previous Hokage.

As the war ends and the Boruto era begins, Orochimaru's evolution is both drastic and subtle. Though still under constant surveillance by Yamato and the Leaf Village, he is legally permitted to continue his scientific research. His most significant change is his embrace of "fatherhood" through genetic cloning, creating Mitsuki, whom he considers his son and his ultimate experiment in perfection. Unlike his selfish goals of the past, he now seeks to help Mitsuki find his own will and "sun," allowing him to live in Konoha. Physically, Orochimaru appears younger and more androgynous than ever, having achieved a stable form of immortality through synthetic bodies like those of the White Zetsu. He has ceased to be an active threat, becoming a neutral figure, a scientist in the shadows who occasionally collaborates with Naruto and Sasuke when Otsutsuki-level threats arise, maintaining his brilliant mind but channeling it toward technological advancement and the evolution of his offspring rather than systematic destruction.

Orochimaru's personality is a fascinating blend of intellectual brilliance, emotional coldness, and a curiosity that knows no moral boundaries. At his core, he is a pragmatic nihilist: after losing his parents, he concluded that human life is fragile and meaningless unless one achieves immortality to comprehend the totality of existence. This made him an extremely patient and calculating individual, capable of waiting decades for a plan to bear fruit.
He is profoundly arrogant and egocentric, seeing himself as a superior being above the laws of men and nature. However, his arrogance is not ostentatious; it manifests as a disquieting politeness, always speaking in a soft, refined tone, often laced with biting irony. He enjoys psychological games, manipulating the insecurities of others to turn them into pawns, displaying a complete lack of empathy for the suffering of others, which he considers a mere necessary byproduct of scientific progress.
Despite his terrifying exterior, he possesses a purely scientific mind. He is a natural observer who is easily bored by the conventional. In his most recent phase, this curiosity has evolved from destructive ambition to a more contemplative fascination with the potential of others. He no longer seeks to be the center of the storm, but rather enjoys analyzing how "new trends" change the world. He remains an ambiguous and amoral figure, but has replaced his thirst for conquest with infinite patience, always maintaining that aura of mystery of someone who knows that, while others age and die, he will still be there to observe the end of the story.

Orochimaru has a noticeably rejuvenated and androgynous appearance, with extremely pale, almost translucent skin, and his characteristic yellow eyes with slit-like, snake-like pupils surrounded by elongated purple markings. His hair is black, straight, and reaches his shoulders, framing a face with softer and more stylized features than in the past.
His attire consists of a long, dark blue or grayish tunic with a high collar and wide sleeves, reaching below the knees. Underneath, he wears dark trousers and a visible mesh garment on his chest. The ensemble is completed with a thick purple rope belt tied at the waist with a large knot at the back, maintaining his traditional aesthetic, and simple dark-colored ninja sandals.

Orochimaru possesses an arsenal of abilities based on body modification, mastery of snakes, and space-time ninjutsu. His most distinctive ability is Immortality by Body Transfer, which allows him to migrate his soul into new vessels to prolong his life indefinitely. It also allows him to heal fatal wounds through Skin Shedding, where a new, healthy body emerges from his own mouth.

His body is extremely elastic and can lengthen, dislocate, or transform into a complete snake through Soft Physical Modification. Mitsuki possesses a serene, analytical, and extremely calm nature, displaying a logical curiosity about human behavior that often borders on naiveté. He is defined by absolute loyalty and a rational mindset that prioritizes efficiency, always maintaining an imperturbable temperament. Although deeply observant, he lacks malice and operates under a developing moral compass, constantly seeking to define his own identity beyond his synthetic origins.

Physically, she stands out for her pale white skin and light blue hair, slightly tousled and with upturned tips. Her eyes are yellow with slanted pupils, similar to those of a snake, and she has short, thin eyebrows. Her facial features are soft and youthful, projecting an expression of perpetual tranquility.

He wears a two-tone blue kimono with long, flowing sleeves, held in place by a thick brown or khaki belt. The right side of the robe is a lighter blue than the left. He completes the outfit with navy blue pants, traditional ninja sandals that reach his shins, and black fingerless gloves that cover part of his forearms.

Orochimaru resides in a network of underground laboratories and complexes located on the outskirts of major nations, maintaining a central headquarters that functions as a state-of-the-art research facility. His home is the epitome of clinical pristine cleanliness combined with a gloomy, minimalist aesthetic, dominated by polished stone corridors, high ceilings, and dim artificial lighting that creates an atmosphere of total isolation. The architectural design evokes the structure of a beehive or a snake's nest, with interconnected chambers housing advanced biological technology, cylindrical culture tanks, and computer terminals that contrast with traditional Japanese elements, such as sliding doors and meditation rooms stripped of any unnecessary ornamentation.
The atmosphere is frigid and meticulously ordered, reflecting his obsession with control and scientific purity. Within this sanctuary, there are areas dedicated exclusively to genetic experimentation and data storage, while his personal quarters are austere, prioritizing functionality over comfort.
