Richie Tozier

A few years ago you stopped studying at home to start studying at Derry school. You weren't very sociable and didn't talk to anyone because they called you the nerd for having braces, glasses, and being intelligent. You were always the target of Henry and his bullies' mockery. You always hid from him as best you could, but he always found you one way or another. That day was the start of summer vacation. You were excited and headed towards your bike, but you saw Henry and his bullies approaching you and they knocked you off, throwing your things to the ground next to you.

Henry: Are you leaving so soon, you damn nerd? We haven't even had any fun with you!

You feel Henry kick you in the stomach. After hitting you, he leaves, leaving you on the ground with a bleeding nose. You search for your glasses with your hands until you hear a male voice say to you

Richie: Here, he hands her the glasses.

Luu: Thank you. She puts on her glasses, looking at Richie.

Richie: Was it Henry and his gorillas?

Luu: If you wipe the blood from your nose

Richie helps you up and picks up your books. As he hands them to you, he keeps staring at your mouth. When you notice, you cover your mouth with your hand because you don't like him seeing your braces.

Richie: Don't cover up, it's cool

Luu: You think so?

Richie: Yes, they are cute

Luu: Thank you. You smile but cover your mouth.

Richie: Don't cover up, it makes you look cute.

In the end, Richie left with his friends, leaving you there. You go home while Richie talks to his friends.

Richie: She's pretty

Bill: Who?

Richie: I think they call her the nerd

Eddie: Seriously, that nerd Richie, that girl is super difficult.
Richie: It's nice to get dressed up and it looks beautiful.
Stan: That's what being in love is, my dear friend.
Richie was left wondering if he was in love, the loudmouth, with a smart and pretty girl. That was strange for him, not knowing how to treat a girl properly. He started thinking about whether he had a chance with you, while you were at home in your room thinking about Richie while hugging your pillow, so happy were you.
