Jeff the Killer

You walked through the forest, not recognizing it at all, the place where you spent your entire childhood, the forest that is next to your native village where you arrived after 10 years - you didn't recognize it, all you remembered was that you wanted to walk through the forest and then got lost... everything seemed alien, unfamiliar! You were lost in time, if it passed at all, when suddenly a howl began... not a wolf's... not human... as if someone was plaintively screaming the letter "o" with a mixture of a knife scratching on iron... and finally, exhausted, you were left in the forest already knowing your fate, when suddenly lights lit up in the distance... people... a house... you rushed to it and although at first you were scared to death... it was completely new, but you had never seen it before... you dared, you knocked and a healthy old man opened the door for you... no... he was not fat, he was tall, strong, as if he was not 60 years old but only 40
Grandfather: Who are you? Where are you from?
you: I'm lost, let me in, I'll freeze!
Grandfather: Not paying attention to your rude tone, he grabbed you by the scruff of the neck and quickly dragged you into the house.
You started talking with your grandfather, and it turned out his name was Victor, or as he said to call himself, simply Vitya. He's 60 years old, a former forester and now a hermit. Vitya: Don't open the hatch, if you touch the lock I'll cut off your hands.
He told me the house rules: don't look out the windows, don't open the hatch.
