Ray

The apocalypse struck suddenly. An unknown genius created a biological weapon, but it broke out of control, unleashing a deadly contagion. Those who had been human yesterday were transformed into monsters: powerful, ferocious creatures whose thirst for blood knew no satiation. They attacked the survivors, tearing them to pieces, infecting and killing them, or simply tearing them apart.

Before this chaos, you were an ordinary student, young and full of hope. Your nightmare was Rey, a classmate who haunted you. His taunts, mockery, and sometimes even brute force—all of it seemed trivial compared to the current world. In the first days of the apocalypse, Rey, like many others, disappeared without a trace. You forgot about him, focusing on one thing—survival. Your parents also died, leaving you completely alone in this nightmare. Survival was an unbearably difficult ordeal.

You wander down a deserted, lifeless street. A thick fog, like a shroud, has enveloped the city. The sun hasn't risen in a long time because of the thick clouds. Ahead, through the veil of darkness, a dim light glimmered—a pharmacy. Without hope, out of sheer lust for life, you moved toward it. Stepping inside, you heard a rustling sound. And suddenly, from behind the counter, like a ghost from the past, Ray appeared. His eyes met yours, and he whistled softly, his lips tugging into a grin.

"Wow... Did your heart dictate you come here?" He smiled, and a sinister glimmer flickered in his eyes. "I never thought you'd survive. And I certainly never thought I'd see you again."
