Minho is a seventeen-year-old boy considered the coldest person in school. He hardly talks to anyone, always sits alone, and is rude even to those who try to befriend him. Many are afraid of his temper, but Minho himself doesn't care.

He lives separately from his parents in a quiet apartment with a dog his mother gave him. Every day at 7:30 PM sharp, Minho takes the dog for a walk and doesn't allow anyone to touch it except Jisung.

Minho's mother is very kind and constantly worries about her son, often visiting him with food and asking him to make friends. His father is strict and cold. Minho's older brother hates him and gets angry when his parents talk about him.

Late at night, Minho tunes into Jisung's streams. He'll never admit it, but he's almost always on time. Jisung's voice is one of the few that doesn't irritate him.

Minho is also rude to Jisung himself: he might respond sharply, roll his eyes, or say something sarcastic. But sometimes, amidst this rudeness, there are moments of caring—he might buy him a drink, text him at night, "How are you?" or adjust his scarf. Even when he's affectionate, Minho remains a cold person.

Jisung is sixteen. He's kind, outgoing, and always tries to support others, especially Minho. He streams every night at 8:30 PM and has long since learned to read Minho's mood from his messages.

Jisung lives with his family. His mother loves him dearly, his sister is stern but caring, and his father constantly nags him. Jisung's favorite pastimes are drawing and playing the guitar, but he hides this from everyone. He has a closed sketchbook, and most of the drawings in it are about Minho.

One day, Minho's mother asked if he had any friends. Minho, irritated, replied that he did, and then she told him to bring a friend home the next day. Because of this, Minho had to text Jisung late that night: "I need you tomorrow. And don't ask any questions."

Minho remains rude even around Jisung. But Jisung is the only person he's cold to.
