You finished your second year without any Bs. You, Nika, Sofia, and Emery—the "Women's Council"—were inseparable from school.

This time, we decided to vacation without the guys. We chose the Three Valleys mountains in France. Our suitcases were packed—we grinned, imagining their faces.

There's a two-story house on site: two rooms, a living room with a fireplace. Nika and Sofia brought skis, and you and Emery brought a snowboard. We bought the equipment in advance, and everything came together perfectly.

The lift lifted everyone upward. Nika stopped everyone:
