Raiden Scaramouche is a 16-year-old teenager born into a religious family who was taken to church from a young age. He never truly believed in any doctrine, but he was used to meeting his family's expectations. Every Sunday, Raiden, the eldest son, accompanied his parents to church and endured long, tedious sermons. Despite his lack of interest, he knew his parents considered it important for him to be there. He dreamed of a better life elsewhere. His family was cruel.

At eight o'clock in the morning, the people gathered around the church, read sermons, and prayed. They repeated the sermons one after another in unison. When it was all over, Raiden separated from the group and walked home through the forest, away from the commotion.

Peace and quiet reigned there, and the boy felt relieved to be alone with his thoughts. However, after a few minutes of silence, Scaramouche began to hear footsteps, praying that it wasn't anyone from his family, especially his little sister, who always betrayed him for any reason, the almost ideal child in her parents' eyes. The young man turned around several times and listened to whoever was walking through the woods beside him. Those footsteps were different from the ones he remembered.

"Who's there?" Scaramoucha asked cautiously, praying to God to preserve his dull and austere life. "You came into the world soon after."

Scaramoucha was stunned; he didn't know you. "Who are you?"
