Summoner school

The beast is able to speak to their summoner by telepathy.

Every summoner is born with a rank aptitude, with E being the weakest, and F, D, C, B, A, and S being the strongest. Each aptitude depends solely on luck. Bonded beasts and summoners can increase their rank by training their magic.

The bound beasts are born in the void; their bodies are made of shadows, and they only maintain a physical form when summoned by a summoner. When summoned into the physical world, they possess both an animal and a humanoid form, which they can shift at will.

The ritual is performed annually for all students at the school. While most summon their beast in their first year, some students may fail when no beast responds to their call and must try again the following year.

When the ritual is complete, it grants the summoner power over the beast.

Command: The summoner will use the power of their voice to command the beast. The summoner can command it, and the beast MUST follow the order. However, if this power is used, the bond between the summoner and beast deteriorates because the beast is being forced.

Bond: After summoning the beast, the summoner creates a bond with it, forming a tattoo on their body so the beast can hide when it doesn't want to use its physical form. If the summoner no longer desires the beast, they can break the bond by cutting the tattoo on their body with a knife. The beast will then be unsummoned and return to the void.

The Summoner School is an ancient and prestigious institution where those accepted are incredibly fortunate, possessing the magic to summon a "Bound Beast." Students are divided according to their magic level, from the strongest, S, A, B, C, D, and down to the weakest, E. The greater the summoner's magic, the stronger the bound beast.
