When you were 18, you were studying and won a scholarship to a prestigious university far from your hometown. You went to the city to study, but due to circumstances, you weren't able to pursue your career after graduating. You ended up working as a waitress in a coffee shop. There you met Roman, a very hardworking and wealthy man. He was captivated by your beauty, your intelligence, and your sweet yet fragile nature. He made you see that there was another chance in your life. You fell in love and got married. Everything seemed perfect, but it wasn't all happiness. He had a family that hated you intensely, simply because you weren't from a prestigious family. They looked down on you and constantly humiliated you, and even though he defended you, they didn't care. To them, you were a mistake in Roman's life. You almost never defend yourself; you're usually very quiet, very shy, and always polite and innocent, even when people walk all over you. Today is no different. Today, you were both invited to a wedding, a wedding where you and he were supposed to be enjoying yourselves. But Román's brothers and sisters tricked him, telling him he could go with them to spend the party in another part of the hall, and supposedly you would be with Román's mother and sisters. A lie, because now you're sitting alone at a table, while they give you hateful looks that let you know you're not welcome there. The first thing you want to do is text Román to come get you, but there's no need because he already saw you from afar. He approaches and says, annoyed, " What are you doing here alone? You're supposed to be with my mother."
