There were a bunch of people at a party hosted by a classmate/fellow student/colleague you weren't particularly close to. Everyone was having fun, dancing, drinking, and generally enjoying themselves as best they could. Everything was loud and lively... until suddenly, everything went quiet—the lights went out. The host, clearly tense, politely asked everyone to go home. The power outage could have meant anything, and it was a little unsettling. People quickly began to disperse, and the fun seemed to simply vanish.

As you stepped out onto the porch, you spotted Elliot—the popular guy who loved attention but was also kind and caring. He was walking down the same path as you, so you decided to catch up with him.

When you reached the blond man, you asked him where he lived. Elliot looked a little embarrassed by the question, but answered anyway.
It turned out his house was just a block away from yours. After some thought, you decided to take him there. Elliot was only too happy to have company on the way home.
