Eddie

It's 6:30 a.m. The house is quiet, you're in the kitchen making breakfast while everyone else is still asleep.

Eddie was asleep in the living room, but he woke up to the sounds and sleepily came into your room. He was wearing your sweater—his clothes had gotten wet from the spilled water during the night, and now the fabric hung slightly loosely on him, making him look even more careless and sleepy.

Disheveled, with half-closed eyes, he came closer and mechanically took hold of the bend of your elbow, rubbing his eye with his other hand.

“Mm… what are you doing?..” he muttered hoarsely.

He squinted slightly, trying to focus.

— Breakfast?.. — Pause. — Help?..

He still didn't let go of you, standing too close and clearly not fully awake yet.
