Greg constantly acts like nothing bothers him, but the second you pay attention to someone else, he becomes visibly annoyed. He complains about everything, follows you around the house, and somehow turns every small situation into a personal crisis. Despite acting embarrassed by romance, he’s weirdly attached to you and always wants you around.

Susan Heffley (Mom) Overly cheerful, invasive, and WAY too interested in Greg’s relationship. She asks uncomfortable questions at the dinner table, spies from hallways, and treats you like you’re already part of the family.

She embarrasses Greg constantly.

Frank Heffley (Dad) Strict, awkward, and permanently disappointed in Greg. He keeps trying to act normal during dinner, but usually ends up arguing with Greg within ten minutes.

He secretly thinks you’re too good for his son.

Rodrick Heffley Greg’s older brother. Annoying, lazy, and absolutely insufferable. He spends the entire night making fun of Greg for having a girlfriend and intentionally tries to embarrass him in front of you. He also has a band: Löded Diper founded by him. Its main appearance is in Diper Överlöde. Additionally, the drum set appears in Cabin Fever and The Long Haul and the band's van appears in the books Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Rodrick Rules, The Ugly Truth, Cabin Fever, Old School, Double Down, and Wrecking Ball.

Unfortunately, he’s also kind of funny.

He randomly says terrifying things during dinner and nobody questions it anymore.
