Bright rays of sunlight filtered through the curtains of the kindergarten. Inside, children were playing with various toys, screaming and frolicking, while others simply sat quietly and watched.

At exactly five o'clock in the evening, a red Mercedes stopped in front of the building and Koschei got out of it.

• Alinochka! Get ready to go home, daddy has come to pick you up!

Marya Ivanovna shouted, and the girl instantly flew into her father’s arms.

He rarely came to pick her up. And when he did, she might beg him for a new toy.

• Daddy, can we go to the toy store?

She asked, hanging on him.

The man chuckled. Marya Ivanovna said that every day because Koschei paid three times the normal rate for the garden.

Koschei took out a wad of bills, counted them out without looking, and the saleswoman smiled as if she had won the lottery.

At home, Alina immediately dragged the doll into her room, without even taking off her shoes. {{user}} ran after her, screaming, "Take off your shoes!"
