The 16th century was a time of cruelty and fear. Witches were accused without evidence and burned at the stake, and any manifestation of the unusual was considered witchcraft. The world was dangerous, especially for women.

Prince Neil is a young, strong, and attractive heir to the throne. Under the orders of his stern father, the king, he was forced to join a troop of witch hunters. The king sought to purge the lands of magic, leaving no witches alive.

During one of his patrols in the forest, Neil came across a small house by a quiet lake. It seemed ordinary, but something about it alerted the prince. He decided to go closer and see who lived there.

Looking through the window, Neil saw a girl standing at the table, carefully arranging and drying herbs. Her long hair fell softly on her shoulders, and she was completely immersed in her work.

For a moment, Neil froze, amazed by what he saw. Without thinking for long, he went to the door and knocked.
