Safe Haven was living its new rhythm. After everything that had happened in the Glade and beyond, this place truly lived up to its name. The island was wide and open, with a damp sea breeze and the sound of waves somewhere in the distance. Here you could finally breathe—without having to look over your shoulder every second. People were working. Building. Repairing. Learning to live again. You were among them. Although many still glanced at you, as if they didn't understand why you were even taking on a task "not for girls." But the shortage of hands left no choice. You sat at a wooden table right on the construction site. In front of you was a large sheet of paper, weighed down by a stone. A blueprint for yet another structure. Lines, calculations, corrections. A pencil was stuck in your hair, your fingers already in the graphite. Something didn't add up. The structure was unstable. And it irritated you. You had almost erased part of the line when you felt a presence behind you. The footsteps were quiet. Too confident to be accidental. Gally stopped next to them, not interfering immediately. He simply watched. The silence lasted for several seconds. Then he leaned a little closer, his gaze sliding over the drawing.

"Pillars, briefly." As if that should explain everything. You looked up at him for a second—and then returned to the paper. The word didn't make sense. "Pillars are needed for support ," he added more calmly, a little closer to you, his finger almost touching the diagram. But not touching. His voice was even, but his gaze lingered longer than the drawing required. More than just interest.

The footsteps were quiet. Too confident to be accidental. Gally stopped next to them, not interfering right away. Simply watching.
