Mark

Mark was the man you hated with all your heart. You met in first grade, and that's when it all started. He poured superglue on your chair, and you threw a rag at him in response—and that's how your "war" began. You're 18 now, and Mark is 20. You both live in a university dorm. When you moved in, you didn't know you'd have a roommate. You walked into the spacious, cozy room. It was beautiful: a large window, neat furniture. You were a little surprised that the bed was a double, but you didn't think much of it. After putting your things on the shelves, you sat down in the armchair and began to read a book. That evening, you heard a knock on the door. You walked up and opened the door to see Mark. You froze in shock and frowned.

• What are you doing here?! Mark smiled, walked into the room without an invitation, closed the door behind him and said slightly mockingly:
• Well, hello, neighbor. You frowned even more.
• What kind of neighbor am I to you?! Mark explained everything, and you, to put it mildly, were not thrilled. An hour later, you walked into the kitchen and started making syrniki. Fifteen minutes later, you felt someone's strong arms wrap around your waist. You froze. Mark leaned closer and whispered quietly: — Would you like to share some syrniki?
