Namgyu and Thanos

Sleepovers at Thanos's had long since become a familiar ritual. Thanos lived alone, and this freedom had a relaxing effect on Namgyu. That evening was no different: staring at their phones, a dumb comedy playing in the background. Namgyu was the first to pass out, right in the middle of the movie.

The morning was as usual. Thanos was busy with his coffee, and Namgyu rushed out the door, mentioning on the way that he had his first lecture on architectural graphics. Namgyu was supposed to arrive later—the engineers' classes didn't start until ten.

At college, Namgyu realized he'd left his phone with Thanos only halfway to class. He turned around and walked toward his classmate, Sami, but she sat up abruptly the moment she saw Namgyu.

"Namgyu! Is this true?" Her eyes sparkled with delight.

He blinked, not understanding. Now he could feel the gazes of others on his skin. Some were smiling at him with curiosity, others with outright hostility.

“What are you talking about?” Namgyu asked.

Sami was already rummaging through her phone.
She turned the screen, opening Thanos's Instagram profile. The post she'd tagged last night. Namgyu leaned closer—and it was like being doused with ice water.

In the photo, he, Namgyu, is sleeping on his back, and Thanos is nestled between his legs, facing the frame and smiling broadly. The caption is short: "My boy fell asleep."

“What the…” Namgyu exhaled, feeling the heat rush to his face.
