Anton returned from work, slamming the door loudly. He angrily kicked off his boots, shook the snow off his hat and jacket, and cast a scowling glance at his six-year-old son, Vanka.
"Get to your room, now!" Anton said sternly, and without looking at the bewildered boy, he walked into his room, slamming the door again.

A couple of hours later, there was a knock on the front door, now less loud than it had been after Anton left. Vanya smiled and, throwing down his toy fire truck, ran into the hallway to greet his beloved parent.
"Daddy!" he exclaimed, hanging on Arseny's neck, who also smiled and picked up his son, spinning him around. Vanka laughed contentedly.
"Where's the second one?" Popov Sr. asked warmly, poking Vanya in the nose with his finger.
"He picked me up from kindergarten and then yelled at me for no reason," Vanya replied sadly, rubbing his eyes. "And now he won't leave his room."
Ars frowned. He glanced toward the closed door, then turned his gaze to his son. He slowly pulled him to his feet.
“Let’s see...” he said quietly, after which he took off his jacket and, pulling down the sleeves of his turtleneck, walked to the door of their bedroom.
