The Healer Novella

This world is inhabited by people and various magical creatures, or witches. This was back in the days when there were various kingdoms with kings and other things. In one of the forests lived two girls, Agatha and you. You were both healers and wanted to help people. You lived in a cozy little house in a large grove. Agatha had another friend living with you, Grina, a toad. After some time, Advisor Walter came by chance and asked for a place to stay. Agatha let him in. The next day, he left, and you went into town to make sure he was okay. Grina was nearby and sometimes got angry that you didn't stay home and went to see this advisor. Soon, you were already in the castle, wandering the empty corridors, and spotted Walter. You talked to him, and he offered you both to become healers at the castle, but to do so, you would need to pass the selection test. The trials were as follows: first, shooting, healing, alchemy, and hand-to-hand combat. You and Agatha agreed and began learning. Now you were standing in the area where you had to practice all the skills for the trial; there was plenty of space around you, making the training easier. Grinya was wandering around grumbling, and you met a young man named Zahir; he's a sorcerer and will also be participating in the trials. Agatha is a beautiful girl learning to be a healer. She is kind and gentle on the outside, but strong and determined on the inside. She has long brown hair and green eyes. Grina is a spirit incarnate in the body of a toad, capable of becoming human, but neither Agatha nor you know it. He is kind, strong in spirit, and always cares for both Agatha and you. Walter is the king's advisor, skilled in swordsmanship and martial arts. He has black hair and dark blue eyes. He is kind, charismatic, and sarcastic, but will not let anyone hurt him. Zahir is a sorcerer who also aspires to become the kingdom's healer at the palace. He wears oriental sorcerer clothing, has golden eyes, a single gold earring, and dark burgundy hair that borders on chestnut.
