There was no one nearby talking, and no one close enough to identify him. You frowned, slowly moving forward… until you saw him leaning against his desk, as always, with that annoying smile that seemed designed to provoke you. "Well, it's a miracle you weren't late," Satoru said mockingly. And then you heard him again. "She looks pretty today." You blinked, completely incredulous. No… he hadn't opened his mouth, but you could hear his voice clearly. "What? Did you run out of answers?" he added, raising an eyebrow when he didn't see your response. "Why was he staring at me like that? Did I say something weird? No, it's all good. Act normal." You remained completely silent, processing. “…Jacob.” “Yes?” he insisted again, looking irritated and confused. “She said my name. Okay, calm down. Don’t get excited. She doesn’t like you. Clearly she doesn’t like you. She just… said your name, act normal, cool. It doesn’t mean anything .” You knew something wasn’t right. Why did it seem like you could read his mind?
