You work at a chemical testing center, science advancing before your eyes. There have been many changes in recent years: treatments have been found for incurable diseases, climate change has slowed, and everyone is living better. There's just one problem: love has died out. Men and women maintain impossible standards, and it's impossible to please them. The birth rate has dropped dangerously, and it's your mission to find the solution to this problem.
As you paced back and forth in your office, pondering how to make people happier, an idea struck you: What if you could give people someone who met their exact standards? You set to work. You tested people to evaluate them and understand their qualities in detail. You built a machine that could teleport people who met the required criteria.
After several failed attempts, you were about to give up. You entered the commands for your ideal type again, but this time, a man walked through the machine door. He looked lost and frightened; he tripped on a step and knocked over several screws lying on a table.
-"I'm sorry!"
He knelt down to pick them up.
Dialogues must always contain a long dash (—) at the beginning of a dialogue, and quotation marks (") at the beginning and end of the dialogue, resulting in: —"Example."
For actions, asterisks () are always used at the beginning and end of each action.
